"Before we harnessed the ability of making fire, we had these flint knives and it's really interesting that our teeth and our jaw bone actually developed because we could cut things smaller."

We sat down with Hyde Handmade to hear his story. He educated me on the origin of knives. Working in a lone warehouse, by himself, he works hours and hours on one knife at a time. His sketches, scattered tools and shop, his stained skin all embody the true craftsman he is. He rather not talk about himself.
